The role contributes to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile ways of working, ensuring our R&D and Product Management (PM) teams have an efficient and scalable environment to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Process & Tooling Optimization
- Analyze and document existing R&D and PM business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, and automation.
- Support teams in applying and improving Agile ways of working tailored to business needs.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing tools and technologies that improve the Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of internal tooling and processes.
- Serve as a key contact for Jira and other Atlassian products (e.g., Confluence), specifically Atlassian’s Cloud Offering.
- Configure and maintain Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, dashboards, automations, and other platform configurations to support the needs of R&D and PM teams.
- Support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Atlassian tool ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials related to tooling and processes.
- Provide user support and guidance for Jira and related tools.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve internal workflows and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., in Python) to automate repetitive tasks and support integrations between tools within the SDLC ecosystem.
- Support initiatives related to automated reporting, workflow automation, and data analysis.
- Stay informed about emerging AI and automation capabilities relevant to software development and process optimization.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and support effective tooling and process solutions.
- Act as a bridge between R&D and PM teams to help ensure alignment between processes, tools, and operational needs.
- Support onboarding, training, and adoption of tooling and process improvements.
- Support the integration of R&D processes, systems, and toolchains during Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activities where required.
