What you'll do

As a Automation Tester at Regnology, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-ready products. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions that help us deliver robust, high-performing software. Your technical expertise, proactive learning attitude, and strong communication skills will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement automated test suites for complex, distributed, cloud-based applications.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the development process.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.
Continuously refine and improve testing strategies, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and reliability.
Stay current with emerging technologies, testing frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation in test automation.

Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for web applications.
Solid understanding of testing concepts including functional, performance, and security testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn through experimentation (“learn by doing”).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with developers and product teams.

Must-Have Skills:

Proven experience with modern test automation frameworks (especially Cypress and Playwright) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Knowledge of REST API testing and related tooling (e.g. Postman)
Proficiency in using source code version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong analytical mindset and focus on reliability and maintainability of test suites.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Good understanding of containerized environments — e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OCI images, and general cloud deployment workflows.
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQLite, and ability to validate data-driven functionality.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with performance testing (e.g. jMeter or k6)
