Product Support Specialist, Regulatory Reporting - India

As a Product Support Specialist for our regulatory reporting solutions, you’ll be the trusted advisor our clients rely on — guiding them through product features, resolving inquiries, and ensuring they maximize value from our offerings. Key Responsibilities:  
 
Business and Functional Troubleshooting  
 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for clients using our regulatory reporting products, resolving functionalinquiriesand guiding best practices.  
  • Analyze and troubleshoot business rules and configurations to resolve issues effectively. 
  • Investigate discrepancies in regulatory calculations, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure comprehensive issue resolution. 
  • Hands over to 3rd Line Support if an issue requires deeper investigation, following standard escalation procedures.
Global Incident Handling:  
 

  • Participate in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule to provide contractual support, which includes mandatory availability during weekends, holidays, andoutside ofstandard business hours.
  • Ensure seamless handover and coordination with other regions as part of the Follow the Sun support model. 
  • Support response efforts for high-priority or platform-wide incidents,maintainingclear internal communication and documentation. 
  • Ensure properrecording, tracking, and closure of all issues according to defined procedures.
 
Additional Scope:  
 
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing support processes and product features. 
  • Support the development of internal knowledge base content and client-facing documentation. 
Why we should decide on you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field (preferred, but strong experience may substitute).  
  • 2-4 years of hands-on professional experience in a techno-functional capacity, such as application support or business analysis, preferably for a financial software product. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting workflows (e.g. Basel IV, SGMAS, HKMA, APRA, IFRS, QI, FATCA, CRS) is highly valued.  
  • A foundational understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and data modeling concepts, with the ability to read basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and analysis is highly valued.  
  • Experience with financial reporting software and understanding of business workflows.  
  • Strong analytical skills with a high affinity for numbers and cross-functional collaboration.  
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.  
  • Experience with agile methods (Scrum) is a plus.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
