Brief description of the role-
As a Compliance Specialist in Regnology, you will be part of our dynamic and collaborative international Legal & Compliance team, supporting the establishment and execution of cross-functional Compliance projects and tasks to ensure Regnology is compliant with its regulatory and legal requirements (external) as well as policies and procedures (internal). The role requires an attentive and detail-oriented approach, as well as the ability to independently resolve a variety of cross-functional business issues.

As a Compliance Specialist in Regnology, you will be part of our dynamic and collaborative international Legal & Compliance team, supporting the establishment and execution of cross-functional Compliance projects and tasks to ensure Regnology is compliant with its regulatory and legal requirements (external) as well as policies and procedures (internal). The role requires an attentive and detail-oriented approach, as well as the ability to independently resolve a variety of cross-functional business issues.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Advising relevant teams on legal or regulatory issues regarding sales, marketing, vendors, products or projects. Including conducting and reviewing Know Your Customer/Know Your Supplier (KYC/KYS) checks.
- Providing support to the business on data privacy matters, particularly in the context of a SaaS business, and including the negotiation of data processing agreements with third parties and acting as a contact point for the competent Polish supervisory authority in matters related to the processing of personal data.
- Supporting the commercial legal function in connection with the Polish customer base, including drafting and negotiation of SaaS and software licensing contracts.
- Performing routine risk assessments to help Regnology manage compliance risk.
- Monitoring Regnology’s compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with the relevant laws and developing new policies as and when required.
- Educating employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the organisation.
- Collaborating with management from other departments to ensure compliance and investigating irregularities.
