Software Engineer

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of our international Research & Development Team, contributing to the agile development of our Abacus Banking software in the RegTech domain. Your role will involve:

Developing and enhancing regulatory solutions by analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and documenting requirements from national and international banking authorities
Providing technical support to customers and Business Analysts, assisting with troubleshooting, and resolving inquiries.
Ensuring software quality by creating well-defined test cases, test data, and user stories within the agile development process.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, Test System Operators, and Architects across different levels and locations.
Creating clear and concise documentation for both internal and client use.

Why we should decide on you

2 years + technical expertise in:
- Database Knowledge, SQL
- Java, including core concepts
- Knowledge of standard design and integration patterns, as well as development best practices
- Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management
- QA and CI/CD pipelines: Unit Testing and Integration Testing, Jenkins
- Git and collaborative tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Would be an advantage:
  - Kubernetes and/or Docker: understanding of containers, pods, and pipelines
  - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Educational background in (Technical) Business Administration, Computer Science, Econometrics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
You are based in Romania.
